Community Consultation Meeting

A big thank you to our neighbours and the stakeholders who came out to our in-person community meeting on June 28, 2023. We had 38 community members and stakeholders at our Community Consultation Meeting. During this meeting, we reviewed the community feedback to date on our project objectives, shared the emerging concept designs, and answered attendee questions.

What We Heard

Following our team’s presentation, we answered questions and responded to comments from the participants. We received positive feedback on the design of the building and bringing back a vibrant Weston Village.

The questions we received focused around:

Street Widening and its impact on the Streetscape
Types of retailers we are bringing to 1800 Weston Rd
Usage of the laneway
Affordable units and rental living
